Case Study: Air-Cooled Chiller Installation

This chiller replacement project required extensive planning, coordination, and execution to ensure minimal disruption to condo residents and surrounding traffic. Due to the size and location of the equipment, the project involved close coordination with the city to secure permits, arrange temporary street closures, and safely mobilize a crane for removal of the existing chiller and installation of the new unit. The original chiller had become increasingly unreliable, experiencing frequent breakdowns that impacted comfort and service for residents. To prepare the building for the upcoming cooling season, the project was strategically planned and coordinated throughout the fall and winter months, allowing all logistics, equipment procurement, and labor planning to be completed ahead of warmer weather, and allow for a smooth and seamless transition.
