The ideal candidate combines strong technical understanding of mechanical systems with excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.

  • Serve as primary point of contact for owners, general contractors, and key project partners; communicate clearly in both written and verbal form.
  • Collaborate with estimating teams during preconstruction to develop accurate budgets and proposals.
  • Procure equipment and materials, negotiate with vendors, and ensure timely deliveries to support field operations.
  • Track job costs, labor productivity, and change orders; provide timely forecasts and financial reporting.
  • Ensure project execution aligns with safety standards, company policies, and applicable codes and regulations.
  • Participate in job walks, coordination meetings, and progress reviews as needed.
  • Prepare and issue project correspondence, including RFIs, submittals, change order requests, and clarification letters.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • 7–10+ years of experience in the mechanical construction industry, with proven project management responsibility.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including sheet metal, piping/plumbing, equipment selection, and applicable local codes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred (equivalent experience considered).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills—both written and oral—with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment.
  • Proficiency with project management and construction software tools (e.g., Bluebeam, Microsoft Office; experience with digital takeoff/estimating tools a plus).
  • Experience delivering both design-build and plan/spec projects.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States; Corporate Mechanical is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this position.
